This course is not for people who want to become a professional dog groomer. There are many other aspects to professional dog grooming that are not covered in this course. Additionally, specific breed cuts and styles are not instructed in this course.
In this course, all grooming is demonstrated on a female dog with a wavy/fleece coat. However, the same methods and principles of grooming, especially around the belly and groin areas, still apply regardless of gender or coat type, so this course will work for everyone.
In this course, we demonstrate using electric clippers with and without clipper combs to achieve various lengths on the body. We also demonstrate basic styling of the face with scissors. Specific breed cuts and styles are not instructed in this course.
