Our mini (well, not mini, as it happens but half sized…40 pounds)goldendoodle, Coco, has a variety of beds. Her night time bed is in her crate, and is just an inexpensive foam filled mattress with a nice heavy corduroy cover. We zip her into her crate at night, as she tends to be a wanderer, going from sleeping spot to spot. She’s happy enough with it. We bought a couple of large daytime snoozing, one from Costco and one nice big, flat, thick one from T.J. Maxx that she likes a lot. But so does one of our cats, and he is tougher than she is, so she tends to sleep on the floor next to the huge bed with the cat curled up in the middle of it. This is how they have resolved sleeping arrangements!! We have kept her puppy bed, basically too small for her, as her “mat”, and we can get her to settle in it wherever we are. She uses it on car trips. It’s her very favorite.
